"I am so grateful for Aisha's experience and wisdom! It's clear she is extremely knowledgeable"
Kind words
Aisha R. Shabazz (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker, mental health therapist, and private practice strategist with a value-based enterprise founded on the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), decolonization, anti-racism, and mindfulness.
Aisha established a therapy practice, In Real Time Wellness, that offers individual and group therapy to socially conscious and creative teens, young adults, and human beings who are seeking to relieve anxiety, release insecurity, and build confidence. She facilitates psychoeducational workshop series to teach the family, friends, loved ones, mental health advocates, and clinicians more about what anxiety is (and isn’t), how they can effectively support individuals with an anxiety diagnosis, why it can be difficult to manage anxiety in our modern society, and the practical applications of what it means to decolonize mental health. Aisha also offers clinical supervision to therapists aspiring to acquire their independent license and provides case consultation to clinicians who are seeking ongoing support with the client populations.
Through her consulting firm, she serves marginalized mental health therapists and helping professionals who are striving to offer high-quality care to their client and patient populations without sacrificing their own health and wellbeing in the process. Through her content, workshops, digital courses, podcast, and group coaching programs, Aisha not only addresses the impact of employee exploitation, toxic working environments, and burnout that occurs in the helping industry, she also offers practical guidance on how therapists and helping professionals can creatively and ethically use their clinical skills to expand into entrepreneurship without burnout.
